Leading and Managing Change - One Day

"Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable." William Pollard

Moving, changing, doing things differently... your company may well be undergoing a merger or acquistion or you might be changing the layout of your open plan office.

Whatever the change, it can have a significant impact on your team and clients; sometimes short-term but often long-term and the resulting stress this can cause will have long reaching consequences.

If you want to understand and minimise any negative impact on organsiational performance then what better way than holding and planning a one day in-house structured planning workshop?

During the day, we will work with you to facilitate proactive thinking, bring assumptions to the surface and coach you to consider and create actions that are well considered and ready to take back for implementation in the workplace.

Whatever changes you have on the horizon, calll me on +44 (0)7920 004639 or e-mail to jan.woodjetts@corticoachingandtraining.com to discuss how we can help you make the most of your resoources and plan for success.

The Creative Leader - One Day

"Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way." Edward de Bono

Do you consider yourself a creative leader? Being creative, releasing creativity and encouraging others to develop their creative side is not a term that just applies to artists, musicians, dancers and design specialists.

We all have the ability to be creative and when placed in a situation that is stressful or potentially life threatening, we become most creative. Think of a time when you saw something that you really wanted.... really wanted. How creative were you in order to attain the very thing you really couldn't do without.

Remember how that felt? How often do you use the same skills in a work situation?

Watch a young child at play and see how creative they become in an effort to find solutions to something that is blocking their way.

Of course, leadership calls for creativity at a higher level so why not reconnect with your natural intuition, take yourself out of the work environment and start by asking yourself "If I did know the answer, I wonder what it would be?"

Inspire and be inspired.

Commercially Yours

A highly interactive commerciality workshop for Managers and their Teams -

One Day

"Unity is strength - where there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved" Mattie Stepanek

Learning Outcomes

  • How individuals add value to the team
  • How the team adds value to the business and to the customer
  • Clarifying The Vision, The Mission
  • SWOT Analysis
  • Identifying the commercial environment
  • Corporate, Business and Functional Strategies
  • Unearthing assumptions
  • Identifying drivers and influencers
  • Establishing the Transformational Process within
  • Identication of costs attached to individual roles and responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Analysis
  • Risk Assessment
  • Modelling Excellence

How often do you assume that your Managers and your teams know what is in your head and your heart? How often do you wish that everyone would be 'reading from the same page'? The truth is that the commercial awareness and strategic views of the senior leaders comes from knowledge and experience that is built up over the years.

The individual team members in your organsiation are most likely experts (or becoming so) in their own field however this does not always equate to them understanding the commercial environment that your organsation operates in.

This commerciality workshop establishes an opportunity for key members of your teams to work together, learn about how each other adds value to your proposition and have clarity on what they can do and how they can work together to raise the bar and work successfully to achieve the organsational goals.

You will have heard the metaphor "all the pieces of the jigsaw coming together to form a fantastic picture". This is just one of the learning outcomes of the day!
